1. Who we are
KoreaClass is operated by CET (Thailand) Company Limited (registration 0105560145831), based in Bangkok, Thailand. Contact us any time at privacy@koreaclass.app.
2. Data we collect
We collect the minimum data required to deliver the language-learning experience and improve it over time:
- Account — email + sign-in identifiers from Apple, Google, or email magic link (Clerk identity provider).
- Learning progress — your saved conversations, grade history, custom scenarios. Stored on-device + synced to your account.
- Voice input — audio you record for pronunciation practice. Sent to our backend for transcription + scoring only, then deleted within 24 hours. Not used to train models.
- Purchase records — subscription state + credit balance, processed via Apple App Store + RevenueCat. We never see your card details.
- Crash telemetry — anonymous error reports via Sentry to help fix bugs. No personally identifiable content.
3. How we use your data
Your data is used only to (a) provide and personalize the KoreaClass experience, (b) process purchases, (c) communicate important account and service updates, and (d) diagnose and fix crashes. We do not sell your data to third parties and do not use it for ad targeting.
4. Sharing with service providers
We use trusted service providers under strict data-processing agreements: Anthropic + OpenAI (AI conversation generation), ElevenLabs (text-to- speech), Apple + RevenueCat (subscriptions + IAP), Clerk (authentication), Sentry (crash telemetry), Vercel + Cloudflare (hosting + CDN). These providers process your data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
5. Your rights
You can access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or by emailing privacy@koreaclass.app. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible — your saved practices, subscription, and credit balance are all removed.
6. Children
KoreaClass is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided data to us, email privacy@koreaclass.app and we will delete it.
7. International transfers
KoreaClass operates from Thailand and our AI/TTS providers process data primarily in the United States. By using the app you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your own.
8. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date below and, for material changes, notify you in-app. Continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance.
